Welcome! ...
We have traced the McColloch surname's genealogical lineage, generation by generation, back to Sir Cullo O'Neil in early 14th century Scotland ... back to the time of William Wallace from the movie Braveheart.
Around 1318, the family gained control over the Myreton, Ardwell, and other parts of the Galloway District.
Subsequent to Sir Cullo O'Neil, the family name became McCullo, which appears to be the root name for all of the surname variations.
